She's thinking blue!
Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, Sunday celebrated the impending arrival of their second baby -- a boy! -- with a Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower.
Surrounded by friends (Jessica Alba and Chelsea Handler) and family (sister Ashlee Simpson was on hand for the big bash), Simpson, 32, toted daughter Maxwell, 11 months old, while she enjoyed the festivities. For more details from her big day, click through.
Simpson's shower was a family affair, with sister Ashlee Simpson (in sunglasses), 28, among the guests. Simpson's mom, Tina, helped coordinate the event, along with celebrity event-planner Mindy Weiss. "They're best friends," Weiss told People. "Jessica trusted her mom to make the decisions."
Good friend Jessica Alba, along with husband Cash Warren, were among the guests gathered around vintage tables, featuring tin pitchers and other country flourishes, for the Tom Sawyer-themed occasion at Los Angeles' Hotel Bel-Air. There was even a wooden boat beside a nearby pond.
Late-night talk host Chelsea Handler and her beau, Andre Balazs, helped fete the soon-to-be mother of two. Along with other guests, they dined on a selection of comfort foods: pigs in a blanket, mini sliders and custom-made grilled cheese. According to People's Weiss, the Thousand Island dressing at the salad bar was a special request from Simpson. "She's craving it," Weiss told People.
