Jessica Simpson Welcomes Son, Ace Knute

Jessica Simpson is a mom, times two!

The fashion mogul, 32, and her fiance, Eric Johnson, 33, have welcomed their second child into the world, a son, a rep for the star told ABC News today.

The happy parents named the boy Ace Knute, the rep said.

In December, Simpson confirmed pregnancy rumors by tweeting a photo of her daughter, Maxwell, above the words, "BIG SIS." The two children will be very close in age: Simpson gave birth to Maxwell just last May.

Still, the two pregnancies have been very different, according to Simpson, who told Jimmy Kimmel in March that this time around, she's felt very sick. It was then that she revealed the baby's gender.

"The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could actually make me nauseous," she said. "Well I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"

A month later, Simpson feted her little boy with a sweet Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower, complete with down-home decor, a Southern-style menu, and one very important request from the mommy-to-be: Thousand Island dressing at the salad bar!
