— -- "Full House" star John Stamos has lost "the love of my life."

His mother Loretta Stamos died on Monday and the actor took to Instagram the next day to honor and praise the woman who raised him. She was 75.

"Loretta Stamos – 1939-2014 The love of my life passed away yesterday in her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren," he wrote. "My mother had enough love to fuel a small country."

He continued, "She was truly one of a kind and will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her. A few weeks ago, I asked my mom if she remembered an inconsequential event - she simply replied, “I only remember the love." #Brokenhearted #Iloveyouthemost."

Stamos, 51, said that if fans wish to donate to a charity in her honor, it should be The Vanguard Cancer Foundation, a foundation she founded.
