— -- intro: Imagine a total stranger turning up at your wedding or pre-nuptial celebration. Not such a great thought?

What if it's Kanye West and he's sending over champagne?

On Saturday night in New Orleans, West became the latest A-list actor or music superstar to spice up a random couple's wedding or impending unions.

The rapper's sort-of unexpected visit came at a bride-to-be's bachelorette party. Siobhan DePietro was celebrating her upcoming wedding with friends at the restaurant Galatoire's in New Orleans when the group spotted West having a meal with a group of guys.

Jess Kingsbery, who attended the party, told ABC News that she and her friends, all huge fans of the rapper, asked a waiter to send a bottle of wine to West's table.

Instead, West turned the tables on them.

"He didn't want to accept the wine but he ended up sending us a bottle of champagne instead," Kingsbery told ABC News. "We were very surprised that he sent us a champagne."

The rapper then posed for pictures with the group as they chatted with him about married life.

"He was definitely gracious, soft-spoken," Kingsbery said. "He said married life is great and wished the bride well."

quicklist:title: Bill Murrayurl: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/bill-murray-crash-couples-engagement-photo-shoot/story?id=24103167text: Bill Murray is becoming known for crashing a couple's special day.

In June, he crashed a couple's engagement photo shoot. Ashley Donald and Erik Rogers were taking engagement photos in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, when they appeared more than a little distracted. Photographer Raheel Gauba of Fia Forever Photography wrote on his website that he turned around to find "Mr. Murray standing there with his shirt pulled up and belly proudly on display which he is patting pretty loudly in an attempt to make the couple laugh." Gauba then invited Murray to join the happy couple for a memorable snap that quickly made headlines.

Of course, this wasn't Murray's first time crashing a celebration. Over Memorial Day weekend, he crashed a bachelor party at a restaurant in Charleston, giving a memorable speech. "You know how they say funerals aren't for the dead but for the living? Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they are for [the other guys]. So, I'm going to give you all advice, because it's too late for this one," Murray told the boys.

He added, "If you have someone you think is the one, don't just sort of think in your ordinary mind, think 'OK, let's make a date, let's plan this and make a party and get married.' Take that person and travel around the world. Buy a plane ticket for the two of you to travel all around the world and go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of. If when you come back to JFK [airport], when you land in JFK and you are still in love with that person, get married at the airport!" media: 24102555

quicklist:title: John Travoltaurl: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/entertainment/2013/06/john-travolta-crashes-georgia-wedding/text: Last June, a Georgia couple got a surprise when none other than John Travolta crashed their wedding. The 60-year-old actor, wearing jeans, a black T-shirt and a baseball cap, dropped by the wedding and even hung around to pose for photos with the bride and groom and their wedding party, according to a Reddit post and photos posted on Imgur.com. According to the Reddit post, the newlyweds ran into Travolta at a bar the night before their wedding. In a photo from that night, the “Grease” actor can be seen -- in the same outfit -- with his arms around the bride and groom.

Believe it or not, this is not the first wedding Travolta has crashed. In a 2009 USA Today interview, Travolta and Robin Williams confessed to crashing a wedding in Santa Barbara, California, back in 1977 while the pair were having a drink at a bar next door.

“We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door,” Travolta said. “We figured we’d crash it.”

“They figured out who we were,” Williams added. “Some guy yelled out, ‘Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!’”media: 26021465

Roseman told ABCNews.com that Tyler was walking past their reception at the Four Seasons Hotel when the couple’s photographer snagged him for the photo. Other guests soon followed with their own cameras.

“He must have posed for 15 different pictures,” said Roseman, a Manhattan commercial real estate broker. “He could not have been more gracious.”media: 19629024
