— -- American Idol fans finally got to see Kanye West's "audition" tape for the singing competition's farewell season in its entirety, as the full clip was released on Monday.

Previous teaser clips showed West surprising "American Idol" judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. by showing up to the American Idol auditions in San Francisco last October.

"My name is Kanye and I'm from the south side of Chicago," the 38-year-old rapper told the amused judges. "[I'm] originally a producer, I always wanted to rap and no one believed in me," he continued.

"Well good luck with all of that," Lopez joked before West began performing.

Ryan Seacrest and Kim Kardashian waited together just outside of the audition room, where Kardashian revealed to the talk show host that she wasn't worried about her husband's audition at all.

“I'm not really nervous because I do really believe in him," Kardashian said. "I didn't give any advice on singing, rapping...I just really believe in him.”

West, who is currently working on new music for his seventh studio album, "Swish," impressed the judges with an A cappella performance of his 2005 hit "Gold Digger," and left the audition with a "golden ticket" to advance to the next round.

American Idol begins its final season on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
