Well, she just elevated herself that much more by covering Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason" earlier this week while stopping by SiriusXM's Hits 1.

From the first line, Clarkson, 32, nails it. Things only take off from there, as the Grammy winner sings the blues with the best of them.

Chapman, herself, who released the classic in 1995 would be proud.
