Lea Michele Posts Sweet Message for Late Cory Monteith's Birthday

The actor died in the summer of 2013 from mixed drug toxicity.

Today, his girlfriend at the time of his death, Lea Michele, posted a sweet message to her late ex.

"I know you're serenading everyone right now.. We love you Cory! Happy Birthday," she wrote with a picture of Monteith on the drums.

This isn't the first tribute to Monteith from Michele. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old actress took the jersey worn by Cory Monteith's character, Finn Hudson, as the show came to a close for good.

"One last thing," she wrote on Twitter, along with a snapshot.
