Mariah Carey's Rough Times Continue
The singer continues to deal with vocal issues and legal battles.
— -- It's been a rough couple of months for pop icon Mariah Carey.
Over the weekend, while performing in Jamaica, Carey, 44, was caught on video lip-syncing to "Fantasy" and not able to keep up with her own lyrics. TMZ first posted the video, which has since been picked up by USA Today and Billboard.
A request for comment from Carey's rep was not immediately returned to ABC News.

Not the First Vocal Snafu
This public vocal misstep comes just weeks after Carey sang live at Rockefeller Center for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony early in December and struggled to hit some of her high notes that she's known for.
In addition, Carey missed the pre-taping after fans had shown up to see the legend perform her classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You." She apologized the next day, tweeting, "Last night's situation was beyond my control. I apologize to all that showed up, you know that I would never want to disappoint you."
She continued, "You've kept me here, in your hearts, and I keep you in mine always. We are #lambily! #ThereForMe."
Her Nanny Sues
Last month, Carey's former nanny to her 3-year-old twins, Simonette DaCosta, filed suit in New York. The woman claimed that from October 2013 until she was let go the following January, that she was paid as much as $6,000 a month -- but is suing for “unpaid overtime wages, premium wages, liquidated damages,” and attorney fees.
A rep for Mariah Carey told ABC News that they don’t comment on “frivolous lawsuits.”
Also in the lawsuit, DaCosta alleged she word more than 100 hours a week “with no entitlement for breaks for meals, and even sleep” when she was working 24-hour shifts.
“Ms. Carey would often call [DaCosta] at hours in the middle of the night and demand to be taken to her children, or to be updated as to the status of her children,” the suit claims. “Ms. Carey would not tolerate any delay. ... [DaCosta] was expected to be working.”
Personal Turmoil
After weeks of rumors and reports of Carey's troubled relationship with husband Nick Cannon, the "America's Got Talent" host spoke to The Insider and confirmed the two were living apart.
Despite the continued reports and the fact the two haven't been seen together in months, Cannon, 34, has been nothing but positive when speaking about Carey on Twitter and other social media.
"I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love," he tweeted on Dec. 29. "I am always an open book but Personal matters are just that "Personal." So please respect my family and respect the process."
The One Bright Spot
Among all the hardship, Carey recently announced a Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace.
"I'm going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars," Carey said on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show back in January. "This is a special event for me!"
The show, titled "Mariah Carey #1s," will open May 6, and then run in May and July.
