Martha Stewart is on the prowl.
The entertaining guru admitted that she's "looking for a partner."
"Love will have something to do with it I’m sure," she told Haute Living New York in its July issue. "I’d love to have a more regular male companion."
The 72-year-old has one adult daughter, Alexis, with her ex-husband Andrew Stewart, and two grandchildren. Her main issue with dating, she said, was finding someone "appropriate.
"An amenable kind of person," she specified. "There are plenty of people who I could date that would be inappropriate. Married men, for example."
Until he comes around, however, she's happy to focus on her 3-year-old granddaughter, Jude, and her two-year-old grandson, Truman. Stewart gushed that she loves pushing them in their strollers, taking them to the New York City Ballet and taking them on outings to Central Park. In turn, they help her with chores.
"They are very smart. Kids are much more able to do things than a lot of people think," she gushed. "They have learned how to collect the eggs from the chickens. They have learned how to pull carrots from the ground. They have learned how to roll out pie crusts!"
