Miley Cyrus Says She 'Will Never Do a Red Carpet Again'
"Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red?"
— -- Sorry paparazzi! Miley Cyrus said she's done posing in front of flashing light bulbs.
"I had to do the ["A Very Murray Christmas"] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again," she told Elle magazine.
"Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red? Because I’m 'important?' Because I’m 'famous?' That’s not how I roll," she explained.
"It’s like a skit -- it’s like 'Zoolander,'" Cyrus, 23, deadpanned, referencing the 2001 comedy centered on a dimwitted model played by Ben Stiller.
And if fans still want to get glimpses of her, especially her fashion choices, they shouldn't turn to Snapchat. She's not on it.
"I want to be. I don't know how to use it," she said in the magazine. "I feel like I'll be an old lady that's too held back, because I don't keep up with it."
Cyrus doesn't even play Pokémon Go although her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth does, apparently.
"Liam woke up and tried to go to the car wash because it was a -- what do you call it? -- PokéSpot," she said. "Like, 'Got to go find them and catch them all! Ahh!'"
