Miley Cyrus released her new album, Bangerz, yesterday, and naturally, the event was cause for celebration.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 20, threw a big bash at the General in downtown Manhattan, where she partied with friends as a deejay played her hits. "She was dancing, twerking, hanging out," said a fellow party-goer. "She was having a good time!"
Guests, including Cyrus's pal Sky Ferreira, sipped specialty cocktails and snacked on passed sushi, while performers from Beacher's Madhouse in L.A. (including Amazon Ashley, a 6'7" burlesque dancer and Amazing Amy, the oldest contortionist dancer) kept everyone entertained. Adding to the ambiance were Bangerz album cover throw pillows, buttons, balloons -- even a piñata.
"It was a really fun party!" added the source.
