— -- John Dann and Claudia Rogers made posters for the July 5 Paul McCartney concert hoping to catch the singer's eye.

They did.

During his show in Albany, N.Y., over the weekend, the singer noticed that Rogers was holding up a piece of paper that read, "He won't marry me 'till he meets you."

Dann's read, "I have the ring & I'm 64."

McCartney Returns to Stage After Hospitalization

"We should see if she will say yes today," McCartney, 72, remarked to the crowd, as he called the couple both to the stage.

After Dann sang a few lines of the Beatles song, "When I'm Sixty-Four," he got down on one knee.

Of course, his bride-to-be said "yes."

"The whole crowd was so supportive," Dann told the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper. "It was a magical night for a lot of people, not just us."
