Have you ever wanted to ask Lindsay Lohan's parents about their daughter? Or talk to stars of former reality show flops? Now you can. Former porn star Gina Rodriguez, who has built an empire managing reality stars, created Dial A Star, a company whose website hosts a catalog of (very D-list) celebrities that fans can talk to on the phone -- for a price.

Each celebrity has a profile on the Dial A Star website that gives a 1-888 number, a biography about why they are famous, what they look like and a schedule for when they are available to chat. Fans of supermodel Amber Smith can talk with her for a four-hour time slot, 7 days a week, for $14 a minute.

To get connected to a Dial A Star celebrity, users have to create an account through its website, where they can purchase credits to make phone calls. The minimum deposit is $30. Billy Mira, a comic and voice impersonator who made a name for himself on the "Howard Stern Show," is one of the "cheaper" celebrities featured on Dial A Star. His going rate is only $6 a minute.

Gina Rodriguez said Danielle Staub, formerly of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," gets the most calls on Dial A Star. Staub made $18,000 in her first week, Rodriguez said. "She has some of the same callers calling her everyday... She is actually becoming friends with these people on the phone. So it's unusual." Staub charges $24 per minute for calls.

Brace, one of the stars of Showtimes' controversial reality series "Gigolos," is another celebrity on DialAStar. He is available to chat with fans for $20 a minute. "[Dial A Star is] completely discrete," Gina Rodriguez said. "It's not recorded. Nobody can see the numbers. It's an anonymous call. Your name doesn't come up. Or your phone number. Neither does the celebrity's."

"So far we have 45 celebrities," Gina Rodriguez said. "Not just D-List celebrities or tabloid people, but that's where it started." Another famous face on Dial A Star is Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father, who fans can talk to for $18 a minute -- about $7 cheaper than his wife Dina Lohan.

The going rate for talking to Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's mother, on Dial A Star is a whopping $25 a minute. "They get to choose their own pricing per minute," Gina Rodriguez said. "Dina wanted $25 per minute, she's busy, and Michael is a bit cheaper. ... We saw one time that somebody hung up with Dina and then immediately called Michael. So that's kind of funny."

Nadya Suleman, better known as "Octomom," is featured on Dial A Star, and you can find out how these $14-a-minute phone calls help to support her 14 children. Those famous octuplets are 3 years old now. "This is an idealistic kind of job and I feel guilty... because people are actually spending money to talk to me, a star. I'm not a star. I'm just a mom," Suleman told "Nightline."

The going rate for talking to Tila Tequila through Dial A Star is $20 a minute. "It's really fun," Tequila told "Nightline." The TV personality and model said she gets calls from both men and women, usually asking her for relationship advice. "It's actually the guys who are... shy. A lot more shy than the girls. They want to make out with me," she said.
