    David Blond described their fashion line. "This season our girl is the 'girl-on-the-run'. We took inspiration from all of our favorite thriller and suspense directors that do it so well like Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Clive Barker from the 50's to current films. We kind of made a sort of mish-mash of different things and each girl sort of represents a different film, a different mood.

    Co-founder of beauty supplier CND, Jan Arnold was asked about the nails the company created for the Blonds, said, "It's about asserting your power through a longer nail, a severe shape, a deep rich color, the addition of dimension. And here at the Blonds we push that like all the way to the edge." The nail-tips shown were inspired by the movie, The Shining, with "redrum" and "Jack" on the tips.

    A model adjusted her wig backstage at The Blonds' fashion show, Feb. 12, 2013 at Milk Studios. Nick Irwin, global creative of TIGI, used dry shampoo to create a look that evoked a sense of "slept-in and young and cool and fresh, certainly not perfect -- but underneath you see this sort of '50s, '60s set to the hair." It took a 25-person team six to seven hours to create the looks.

We're so ready to do it. You'll even see a little bit of her in the show, there's a little influence there. We can't help it."
