    Former Miss Arizona Teen USA Tori Vance, 18, was charged with driving under the influence after getting pulled over last month for making an illegal U-turn, according to TMZ. The teen faces up to six months in jail and could lose her license for a year if convicted.

    In 2007, newly-crowned Miss USA Rima Fakih participated in a pole dancing contest thrown by "Mojo in the Morning," a nationally-syndicated morning radio show out of Detroit. During the annual event, called "Stripper 101," real-life strippers teach female participants the art of the striptease and pole dancing. At the end of the class, a contest is held among the new students and, in 2007, Fakih was the grand prize winner, reports "Mojo in the Morning." The station says this photo has been on its website for three years.

    The 2008 Miss Universe contestants Hiroko Mima (Japan) and Anya Ayoung-Chee (Trinidad and Tobago) took part in a homemade sex tape with Ayoung-Chee's boyfriend Wyatt Gallery, according to TMZ.com. Gallery told TMZ that the tape, which was made in 2007, was stolen from his laptop. "I feel horrible and embarrassed for Anya, her family and myself," he told TMZ.

  • Beauty Queens Gone Bad: Carrie Prejean

    Miss California is Miss California no more. According to K2 Productions, the independent producers of the Miss California USA pageant, Carrie Prejean's crown was revoked because of a continuing breach of contract issues. It's been less than a month since Prejean offered a tear-filled plea to keep her crown, despite racy photos of her that spread like wildfire across the Internet. Donald Trump, the owner of the Miss USA pageant, came to her rescue at the time and said she could keep her crown. The photos of Prejean wearing only pink panties appeared on <a href="http://thedirty.com" target="external">TheDirty.com</a> weeks after she made news by condemning "opposite marriage" at the 2009 Miss USA competition.

    Susan Shaw is the latest former beauty queen to have her tiara tainted by scandal. Shaw, who held the title of Miss Hawaii International in 1992, was indicted by a Hawaii grand jury May 12 on 122 counts, including identity and credit card theft, forgery and money laundering. The 35-year-old ex-beauty queen reportedly used stolen identities to obtain credit cards that allowed her to travel around the world, hitting spots like China, Canada, New Jersey, Nevada and California.

    Former Miss Nevada Katie Rees, who lost her title after racy pics of her surfaced in December 2006, allegedly resisted arrest when she was pulled over for a routine traffic violation in the early hours of Feb. 6, 2008, according to the Las Vegas Police Department. Rees was then taken to Clark County Detention Center, where she was booked on charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license and suspended license plates and resisting a police officer.

  • Tarnished Tiaras: Beauty Queens Gone Bad Kelli McCarty

    Kelli McCarty, who was named Miss USA in 1991, is trading in her crown for a racy career in adult entertainment. The Kansas native, who played Beth Wallace on the TV show "Passions" for seven years, is now a "Vivid Entertainment" actress, according to TMZ. "I enjoy acting, and I really like sex... so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions," McCarty told TMZ of her career decision.
