Don Wilson, Bob Bogle, Nokie Edwards and Mel Taylor make up The Ventures, an instrumental rock band formed by Wilson and Bogle in 1958. The West Coast natives are probably best known for their surf-music hits, including 1959's "Walk Don't Run." Though they faded out of favor in America in the 1970s, they enjoyed and continue to mantain huge success in Japan.
