American Idol's Great Eight
Competition on the hit show heats up as eight remain.

It's down to the Elite 8 on "American Idol" after TBD was eliminated during Wednesday night's results show. Check out who's still in the running to become the next "American Idol."
This isn't the first major television competition that David Archuleta, 17, has been on . He sang on the talent show "Star Search" when he was 11. But the high school student from Utah made headlines early in March when he flubbed the words to the Beatles' "We Can Work It Out." Archuleta continues to "work it out" on "Idol," staying in the competition despite the mistake and he's even spawned a network of fans who call themselves "Archies." (Salt Lake Tribune)
