Charlton Heston: An Epic Life

With his chiseled, dramatic features, actor Charlton Heston, seen here in a publicity photo from 1950, made a career playing heroic figures, such as Moses, Michelangelo, El Cid and the charioteer Ben-Hur, a role that won him the Oscar for best actor in 1959.
