Disgraced Faces of Ad Campaigns

Disgraced Faces Chris Brown
Singer Chris Brown's alleged abuse of pop-star girlfriend Rihanna continues to shock the music world. Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department Feb. 8, 2009 on domestic abuse and criminal threat charges. He was released that night after posting $50,000 bail. On Feb. 9, 2009, Wrigley announced its suspension of Brown as a Doublemint gum spokesperson until his criminal case is resolved. A company statement expressed concern about "serious allegations made against Chris Brown." Brown was also yanked from the "Got Milk" ad campaign Feb. 10. "The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously. We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens," the company said. (Jason Merritt/Getty Images)
