Shia LaBeouf Injured on Set of 'American Honey'

The actor, who was hurt on a movie set, required stitches.

— -- Shia LaBeouf was hurt on the set of his new film "American Honey," his rep confirmed to ABC News.

The spokesperson described the actor's injuries as "minimal."

"As protocol, production sought out medical attention and Shia received stitches on his hand and for a laceration on his head," the rep said. "He is due back on set tomorrow."

It was first reported that LaBoeuf, 29, was attached to the project earlier this year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter," the movie, directed by Andrea Arnold, is about "a teen who joins a magazine sales crew and gets caught up a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love."
