Billy Crystal portrays Fernando Lamas, the host of the fictional "Fernando's Hideaway."  During the show, Fernando would frequently mistake famous guests for other famous people, and he would admonish his viewers that it is "better to look good than to feel good."  The skit made a catchphrase out of "You look mahvelous."
