An actor, writer, director and producer, Ralph Macchio first gained world recognition for playing the title role in the popular classic "The Karate Kid" and its successors, "The Karate Kid II" and "The Karate Kid III." His extensive list of film credits includes Francis Ford Coppola's "The Outsiders" and "My Cousin Vinny."
