Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey turns 59.

Oprah Winfrey, considered to be the most influential woman in the world, ended her daytime talk show on May 25, 2011 after a quarter century. Winfrey was born Jan. 29, 1954, into famously difficult circumstances in Kosciusko, Miss. There was no running water or electricity at her home, Winfrey said.
