'The Price Is Right' Celebrates 40 Years

"The Price Is Right" makes its original television debut in 1956 with host Bill Cullen, seen here with contestants from an August 1960 show. The Cullen-hosted version of the show, which involved four contestants bidding on expensive products, ran until 1965. The version seen today celebrates its 40th anniversary in September 2012.
