Rachel Hulin: 'Flying Baby'

"Shower Flight." Rachel Hulin is a photographer and writer based in Providence, R.I., and New York City. "Flying Baby" grew out of her wish to keep her art going amid the demands of rearing her son, Henry, who is 13 months old. When he was 6 months, she said, "We'd lift him up, and he'd squeal with delight. I thought, What if I photographed him and removed the grown-up?" (Rachel Hulin)
