Although she goes by Bran'Nu now, R&B singer Brandy emerged in the mid-90s as a teen idol. Brandy earned wide acclaim for offering a different urban sound to the '90s music scene, and won a Grammy in 1999 for the song, "The Boy Is Mine," a duet with R&B singer Monica.
