The Voices Behind the 'Sesame Street' Puppets

Caroll Spinney has been the voice of multiple "Sesame Street" characters since 1969 but is best known as Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch. He has been nominated for an Emmy several times for his role but has only won once. In 2006, Spinney won an Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award and in 1994, Big Bird got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (Getty Images)
