Aug. 28 -- Sean "P. Diddy" Combs says he's creating a "fusion of flavor" with David Bowie.

The glam-rock legend is working with the hip-hop producer on a remake of Bowie's song "This is Not America."

The collaboration will be included on the soundtrack to Warner Bros.' upcoming cop drama Training Day. The movie stars Denzel Washington as a veteran officer training a rookie played by Ethan Hawke.

"I saw the movie and I thought the performances were just outstanding," said Bowie. "I said, 'I'd love to get involved. So, tell me when you're ready to get set up.'"

The legendary pair was recently in the studio working on what Combs says incorporates each of their musical styles.

"It has like a techno, hip-hop, funk-type feel and then Dave, you know, put the soul thing on the soul rock," said the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy.

"We're just going to have a big old fusion of flavor," said Combs. "And hopefully, you know, we're going to make a hit record that represents the movie but isn't just for the movie."
