TV Notes: 'Facts of Life' Reunion

You take the good, you take the bad … and 13 years later you have a big reunion.

Tootie and Natalie are heading back to Eastland for a Facts of Life TV reunion movie, with production set to begin next month in Toronto.

Most of the original cast members, which included Kim Fields, Lisa Welchel and Mindy Cohn, are expected to attend the special that will air on ABC. No word yet on Nancy McKeon who played tough chick Jo on the series.

The series, which depicts a group of boarding school girls coping with their teen years, went off the air in 1988 after running for nearly a decade.

The episodes now air on Nick at Nite and are still popular with viewers. A spokesperson for the cable network says it began airing the sitcom last September with a marathon — the highest rated marathon of the year. The episodes picked up 41 percent more viewers than its typical evening lineup.
