TV Notes: 'Facts of Life' Reunion

Aug. 15 -- You take the good, you take the bad and 13 years later you have a big reunion.

Tootie and Natalie are heading back to Eastland for a Facts of Life TV reunion movie, with production set to begin next month in Toronto.

Most of the original cast members, which included Kim Fields, Lisa Welchel and Mindy Cohn, are expected to attend the special that will air on ABC. No word yet on Nancy McKeon who played tough chick Jo on the series.

The series, which depicts a group of boarding school girls coping with their teen years, went off the air in 1988 after running for nearly a decade.

The episodes now air on Nick at Nite and are still popular with viewers. A spokesperson for the cable network says it began airing the sitcom last September with a marathon the highest rated marathon of the year. The episodes picked up 41 percent more viewers than its typical evening lineup.

Barbara Eden's Son Dies of Overdose

Toxicology tests reveal I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden's son died of a heroin overdose.

Matthew Michael Ansara, 35, was an aspiring actor and bodybuilder and was found dead in his pickup truck on June 25 in California. He was alone at the time and the cause was not immediately known.

Authorities do not suspect any foul play in the incident.

Ansara was Eden's only son. She starred alongside Larry Hagman on the popular 1960s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.
