Lopez to Wed Soon; Boreanaz Engaged
August 13 -- Jennifer Lopez is indeed headed for the altar, according to Entertainment Tonight. The 32-year-old singer-actress has been coy about rumors of an engagement to her back-up dancer beau, Cris Judd, but ET claims that invitations have already gone out for an Aug. 18 engagement party for the happy couple, to be held at a trendy Melrose Avenue restaurant in Los Angeles.
Lopez hooked up with Judd on the making of the video of "Love Don't Cost a Thing," which is widely believed to be her kiss-off to her flamboyant ex-boyfriend, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Lopez's previous marriage to Ojani Noa lasted 10 months.
Boreanaz to Wed BergmanIn other wedding news, David Boreanaz, the 32-year-old star of TV's Angel, is engaged to Son of the Beach's Jaime Bergman, who is 25. The brooding TV vampire with a soul popped the question on July 14 on a mountaintop in the California desert, according to US Weekly. The two have not yet set a date. Boreanaz was previously married to Ingrid Quinn.
Heche Sets a Date?Also headed for the altar soon is former lesbian Anne Heche, who will wed 27-year-old cameraman Coley Laffoon on Oct. 28, according to ET. Reporters for the show sneaked a peek at the pair's Williams-Sonoma bridal registry, although the couple had registered under a pseudonym. Heche, who dated Steve Martin for two years and Ellen DeGeneres for three, has been spotted checking out wedding gowns at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, Calif., says US Weekly. Although Heche and DeGeneres announced their intention to become one of the first same-sex couples to be wed in Vermont, Heche's upcoming traditional wedding will be her first of any kind.
Driver Denies Streisand Wedding InterferenceFinally, Minnie Driver has had to dismiss reports that she is feuding with her future stepmother-in-law, Barbra Streisand, about what designer she'll wear at her wedding to Josh Brolin. Reportedly, Streisand, who is married to Josh's dad, James, was pushing for Minnie to wear Donna Karan, while Driver was holding out for Vera Wang. Brolin and Driver have been dating since 1998 and were erroneously reported to be engaged in 1999.
