Lopez Mum About Engagment; Heath and Heather Split

Are Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd getting ready for a walk down the aisle? And is the happy couple expecting their first child? Don't ask her publicist.

Since Monday, when a number of tabloids reported that Judd had popped the question at a Los Angeles BBQ joint, the entertainment industry has been abuzz with rumors regarding both possibilities. For an update, we turn to People magazine, which has the latest word, straight from the horse's mouth — or the mouth of the horse's publicist, at any rate.

According to columnist Stephen Silverman, Lopez rep Alan Neirob "strongly suggested" that the rumors were untrue but stopped short of an outright denial and let the matter rest with a reminder that he "does not comment on clients' personal lives."

There's been a more forthcoming romantic disclosure from publicist Robin Baum, who represents Heather Graham. The Spy Who Shagged Me star has been stepping out with Aussie hottie Heath Ledger for nearly a year now, but that romance is apparently on the rocks.

Reports from several sources say that Baum has confirmed the split, which was much-rumored after Graham, 31, did not accompany the 22-year-old Ledger to the New York premiere of his big summer movie, A Knight's Tale. No reason for the breakup has been given.

Graham has a string of past boyfriends that includes James Woods, Kyle MacLachlan, and director Stephen Hopkins (Lost in Space). Before meeting Ledger, she was most recently involved with actor and filmmaker Ed Burns (who has quite the romantic rap sheet himself); Burns is currently engaged to model Christy Turlington.
