Fleetwood Mac Re-releases 'Rumours'
May 29 -- The Mac is back.
The newly remastered DVD-audio version of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours arrived in stores today, and the group already has a lot of material for the new album that's in the works.
In an interview to appear on the music Web site All-Star, Stevie Nicks reveals she's already given Lindsay Buckingham "17 demos of songs from the last 30 years, and some that are newer."
She says she and Mick Fleetwood have "made it our mission" to make the new album happen. Nicks expects to begin working on it after her current tour.
The re-release of Rumours, by the way, includes a bonus track. The song "Silver Springs" was supposed to be on the original album back in the '70s, but for technical reasons the band had to leave it off.

Elton John was scheduled to appear last Friday on a popular British game show called Have I Got News For You. But he ended up pulling out of the taping at the last minute because he was "too tired." The program's producers weren't able to rustle up another celeb on such short notice, so the show went on short one contestant.
Asked why Sir Elton bailed on the show, a spokesperson told The Sun tabloid the Rocket Man is only human. "Elton's been on the road constantly this year and has also been spending time in the studio. He gets tired just like everyone else."
