April 16 -- The solo album Joey Ramone was working on at the time of his death will be released posthumously.

The punk-rock icon, who succumbed to lymphatic cancer Sunday, had been working on the solo project for the past three years.

Longtime Ramones producer Daniel Rey contributes guitar tracks to the album, which he says will come out this year.

Ramone wrote about 20 tunes for the album, and also recorded with bassist Andy Shernonff of The Dictators and Cracker's drummer Frank Funaro.

Michael's Anniversary Party

Michael Jackson is planning a big bash to celebrate his 30th anniversary as a solo act.

The pop star is putting together an all-star concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on Sept. 7. It will be his first stint at the venue in more than a decade.

His brothers will take the stage for a Jackson 5 reunion, along with Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and 'N Sync.

Sweetened 'N Sync

Pick a flavor Joey, Justin or Lance!

Brach's Candy is coming out with a new tasty treat, 'N Sync Hot Hits. The fruit snack will be shaped like musical notes and juice-filled hearts sporting the names of the group's members.

The packages will also include a replica of a backstage pass, but the document probably won't get fans any closer to the guys during their summer tour.

Moreover

Jane's Addiction plans a traveling festival this summer. Founder Perry Farrell told the Los Angeles Times the band will focus on electronic music for the tour billed as "Jubilee," and Porno For Pyros bassist Martyn Le Noble will join the band for the outing. Beck is making an appearance on Fox TV's cartoon Futurama this Sunday. An animated version of the singer will help the show's robot Bender live out his folk-rock dream.
