April 13 -- Warning, warning, warning: Stop reading right now if you think a little gossip we have in our filthy little hands might ruin this season's final episodes of The Sopranos for you.

Turn your head. Avert your eyes. Don't come crying to us. This is your last chance.

OK, now that it's just us gossip hounds, do you want to know who will get whacked? An insider who worked with a Sopranos cast member on another project we're not saying who has let it slip that Tony Soprano's young nephew, Christopher Moltisanti, will soon be sleeping with the fishes.

Michael Imperioli, who plays Christopher on the HBO series, has seen his star rise since taking the role, so it might be a good time for him to move on.

But what does this mean to the Soprano gang and its hegemony over New Jersey? Moltisanti is a newly made guy. Besides, he's engaged. The tragedy of it all!

We can only hope some insiders are floating disinformation to keep us on our toes.

Extra Poundage

Pound for pound, Renee Zellweger might be the most daring actress in Hollywood.

Oscar winner Julia Roberts says she'll be donning a "fat suit" to play a bulky character in the upcoming America's Sweethearts. But Zellweger gained 25 pounds the old-fashioned way with a knife, fork and spoon to bring Helen Fielding's best seller Bridget Jones's Diary to the big screen.

"It was really important to me that everything I loved about this character in the book would be evident in the picture as well," said Zellweger. "I wanted her to physically reflect the lifestyle that she leads."

For the uninitiated, Bridget is a binge-eating, alcohol-swilling, boyfriend-seeking, thirtysomething Brit.

For the 31-year-old Texan, gaining weight may have been easier than affecting an English accent. "I didn't want to sound like a fraud to myself," she said. "I didn't want to be questioning the words coming out of my mouth so we stuck with it and it became more colloquial I think I had a Princess Margaret phase."
