January 19 -- Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher's three-year marriage to Meg Mathews has been dissolved, though the pair still can't agree on the reasons behind the split, according to the BBC.

The divorce went through in a brief hearing at London's High Court, where no objections were raised at least inside the court.

In divorce papers, Mathews says she found it "intolerable" to live with Gallagher since he admitted adultery "in or around late October" last year, according to the news service.

Gallagher, however, has repeatedly denied being unfaithful to his ex-wife and said he only admitted to cheating in order to get the divorce over quickly.

In a statement released Thursday, he said he had left because he could "no longer tolerate her behavior."

Gallagher is currently dating publicist Sara MacDonald but says they never had a fling while he was still with his wife. Gallagher and Matthews split in September.

McDonald has backed up her boyfriend's claim and released her own statement, saying, "I feel that Ms. Mathews would benefit from a more honest and introspective evaluation of the real causes of the breakdown of her marriage."

Mathews, 34, met Gallagher, 33, in 1994, while she was working at Oasis' former label, Creation Records. The couple was married in 1997 in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas; that same year, Matthews left her post at the label and successfully went into business as a party planner.

The guitarist's brother, Liam Gallagher, also split with his wife, Patsy Kensit, last year, divorcing in September. He is now dating Nicole Appleton, a member of pop quartet All Saints, who is pregnant with his child.

The Gallagher brothers are now on tour with Oasis in South America, after playing last weekend at Brazil's Rock in Rio festival.
