Frasier's Leeves Has Baby Girl

January 21 -- Jane Leeves, who plays daffy Daphne on the NBC sitcom Frasier, is a new mom.

The 39-year-old actress gave birth Jan. 9 to a girl she's named Isabella Kathyrn Coben. The baby, which weighed in at 9 pounds, 12 ounces, is the first child for Leeves and her husband, TV executive Marshall Coben, People magazine reports.

Daphne is single and a newly realized love interest of long-simmering admirer Niles Crane (David Hyde Pierce), so Leeves had to disguise her real-life pregnancy in the usual "stand behind something" method.

Peri Gilpin, who plays Roz on Frasier, was with Leeves in the delivery room, according to People.
