Dennis Quaid Goes Hog Wild

January 14 -- "Meg who?" seemed to be Dennis Quaid's state of mind last week when he boogied up a storm at New York's Hogs & Heifers bar — the down and dirty spot similar to the one that inspired last year's bartending opus Coyote Ugly

The star of Traffic and Frequency was reportedly partying Wednesday night to forget — or to celebrate — the end of his nine-year marriage to on-screen good girl Meg Ryan.

According to the New York Post, which ran photos of the 46-year-old leading man letting loose, Quaid jumped on top of the bar and began dirty dancing with all takers — which included nearly every woman in the place, sexy barmaids and patrons alike.

When bartender Amy Mazzarisi asked the actor "Aren't you married?" he countered, "I'm divorced," she told the Post.

"He was pretty quiet when he came in, started off drinking soda, but that didn't last long. A couple of tequila shots later, he was having a blast," said Mazzarisi, who said she started the actor's dancing frenzy by asking him, "How about the sexiest man in the bar giving me a dance?"

The bartender says, "He was real easygoing, real fun — your ideal Hogs & Heifers guy."

The star of Any Given Sunday is currently filming Dinner with Friends for HBO, and has been romantically linked to his co-star, sex, lies, and videotape actress Andie MacDowell. The curly-haired actress is separated from her husband, Peter Qualley.

While these on-set romantic rumors are often unfounded, we know of at least one torrid on-set liaison that proved all too true: that of Ryan and her Proof of Life paramour, hottie Russell Crowe.
