Jan. 9 -- Courtney Love, whose musical career seems on hold because of strained relations with her record label, is finding no shortage of acting work.

The Hole frontwoman has signed on to co-star opposite Jennifer Esposito, Luis Guzman, and Isaiah Washington in Welcome to Collinwood.

The heist comedy centers on a gang of social misfits who concoct a desperate plan to redeem their poverty-stricken lives. Shooting is slated to start in early April.

Anthony and Joe Russo will direct from their own screenplay, while Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney will produce via their Section Eight banner.

Love will also soon star in Hello, Suckers, a biopic about early 20th-century showbiz personality Mary Louise Cecilia "Texas" Guinan; Martin Scorsese will executive-produce.

The actress recently filed a lawsuit against the ex-wife of her onetime boyfriend Jim Barber. In the suit, she alleges that Lesley Barber drove at her with a Volvo, injuring Love's ankle and making her unable to take part in physical training for John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars; she was subsequently dropped from the cast.
