December 20 -- The tiny airport in Inverness, Scotland, is hotter than the red carpet on Oscars night this week, as celebrity guests arrive in droves for Madonna's Friday wedding to British director Guy Ritchie.

Alleged maid of honor Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed stepping off her private jet, while designer Stella McCartney who is rumored to be designing the singer's gown followed shortly after, various media outlets noted.

Madonna's fellow crooner Celine Dion and gal pal Debi Mazar flew in to the Scottish Highlands, the New York Daily News said, and so did the couple who introduced the pop superstar to her guy: Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler. Madonna's Next Best Thing co-star, Rupert Everett, is also expected in Inverness.

Guests are apparently being shuttled to Skibo Castle, the fairy-tale setting of Madonna and Ritchie's Friday ceremony. The soon-to-be-newlyweds are said to be entertaining their A-list pals at the gothic castle.

One guest will have to sing or at least play for his wedding supper. According to England's Sun tabloid, Madonna has asked Elton John to perform his instrumental ballad "Song for Guy" for her groom at their wedding.

Madonna apparently ordered the owners of the castle to ensure that an $18,000 grand piano be ready for John to play the tune, the tabloid said.
