December 7 -- Beck to Bare Backsides

A collection of B-sides and remixes from chameleon collage rocker Beck will soon become available on his Web site (beck.com). The nine-song collection includes two remixes of "Mixed Bizness," a new version of "Sexx Laws," plus previously unreleased tracks such as "Arabian Nights," "Dirty Dirty," and "Zatyricon." The offer is the quirky singer's first move since parting ways last week with his manager, John Silva.

Kid Rock to Hit Road, Toy Stores

Kid Rock is planning to play some shows and McFarlane Toys is planning to let everyone play with Kid Rock. The rap rocker has announced a string of dates in late January and February, which will presumably be fleshed out into a tour. The toy company, meanwhile, is aiming to get its Kid Rock action figure into stores as Rock crosses the country. McFarlane Toys run by comic artist Todd McFarlane already has action figures for Janis Joplin and the members of KISS.

Tina Turner Struts Through Final Show of Final Tour

Legendary diva Tina Turner went wild one last time, wrapping her farewell tour Wednesday night in Anaheim, Calif., after more than 100 shows worldwide over the past half year. The 18,000 fans at Arrowhead Pond ate it up, as Turner, 61, belted out such hits as "River Deep, Mountain High" and "What's Love Got to Do With It." Her energized performances are credited with influencing the Rolling Stones and other well-known live acts.
