Flesh-N-Bone Gets Two More Years

October 24 -- Rapper Stanley Howse — a k a Flesh-N-Bone — of Grammy-winning act Bone Thugs-N-Harmony received a two-year prison sentence Monday in connection with a case stemming from a January disturbance at a relative's house.

On Sept. 13, Howse pleaded no contest to illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Authorities seized the firearm during an incident on Jan. 3, when Howse dropped in at a relative's house in South Los Angeles, packing heat. He surrendered to police after a 90-minute standoff. At the time, he was on probation for attacking a neighbor in 1997.

The 27-year-old rapper will serve the term concurrently with the 11-year sentence handed down on Sept. 22 for his conviction of assault with a deadly firearm. That case arose from an incident on Dec. 26, 1999, when Howse allegedly whipped an AK-47 out of a baby crib, loaded some ammo, and trained the gun on two colleagues who were visiting him, chasing the pair from his apartment.

Flesh-N-Bone's solo album, The Fifth Dog Lets Loose, was released Oct. 10 and entered the Billboard charts last week at No. 98.
