Orlando Bloom Reportedly Tried to Punch Justin Bieber
Part of dispute captured on video, but not Bloom's reported punch attempt.
— -- Actor Orlando Bloom reportedly tried to punch Justin Bieber at an Ibiza, Spain, night spot early Wednesday, with part of the apparent confrontation captured on video by fellow partiers.
Bieber can be heard shouting what sounds on the video like “What’s up?”
Bloom walks over to Bieber, and an apparent scuffle ensues.
Eyewitnesses said the “Lord of the Rings” star threw a punch at the singer -- but didn’t connect, reported several media outlets, including TMZ and The New York Post. Video hasn’t surfaced of the alleged punch. ABC News has not confirmed the reports.
Bieber left and, according to eyewitness reports, the crowd applauded.
The restaurant where the video was made, Cipriani, was packed with celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Puff Daddy.
The apparent scuffle reportedly stemmed from a rivalry over past flames. In 2012, Bieber partied with Bloom’s then-wife, Miranda Kerr, after a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In April, Bloom was seen with Bieber’s on-again, off-again girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
Bieber lent support to that theory by posting -- and quickly deleting -- a photo of Kerr to his Instagram page.
The “Baby” singer tried to stay upbeat following the incident.
“Keeping it positive,” he wrote on Twitter.
