'Do Not Disturb' Spears in Rehab
Feb. 27, 2007 — -- The troubled Britney Spears may be in rehab, but even behind closed doors she's raising a stir. MSNBC reports the pop star booked an entire wing for herself at the posh Malibu clinic Promises where she is undergoing treatment.
The 30-day stay at Promises typically costs around $48,000, but sources told MSNBC that Spears will dish out hundreds of thousands of dollars for her privacy demands. Spears reportedly doesn't want to mingle with other rehab patients, and she's afraid of stories and photos leaking to the media.
Spears was admitted to Promises last Tuesday, checked out quickly thereafter, then was readmitted on Thursday. Reports say Spears returned for a full 30 to 45 days of treatment after her estranged husband Kevin Federline gave her a last chance to get help or risk a nasty custody battle over their two infant sons.
