New Teaser for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Features Baby Groot

— -- A new look at "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is here, and the highlight is definitely Baby Groot.

The second teaser trailer for the sequel to the 2014 global blockbuster dropped Saturday.

All of the main characters from the original are back -- Chris Pratt as Peter "Star-Lord" Quill, Zoe Saldana as the green-skinned assassin Gamora, Dave Bautista as the musclebound. literal-minded Drax, and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon.

But instead of Vin Diesel's bass growl as Groot, the 12-foot-tall talking tree, this time we've got Baby Groot, regrown from a twig after sacrificing himself in the first film to save his friends.

Now he's all of maybe 6 inches tall but already kicking butt and taking names -- when he's not busy being adorable.

We've also not another classic rock hit as the trailer's soundtrack -- Sweet's "Fox on the Run," from 1974. The first movie's trailer featured Blue Swede's "Hooked on a Feeling," also from 1974, which helped propel the movie's classic hits soundtrack to the top of the Billboard album chart.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 -- once again directed by James Gunn and also starring Kurt Russell, Karen Gillan and Michael Rooker -- opens May 5.
