quicklist:title: Alec Baldwin vs. the Paparazzitext: Last year, Alec Baldwin went to war with American Airlines. This year, it was the paps. In April, the famously hot-tempered actor ranted on Twitter after a New York Daily News reporter and photographer snuck into and snapped pictures of then-fiancée Hilaria Thomas' yoga class, calling one of the staffers a "nutty b****." Then, in June, he scuffled with a photographer, also from the Daily News, after he and Thomas went to pick up their marriage license. A week later, the day before his wedding, the "30 Rock" actor unleashed on a photographer who was blocking the entrance to his apartment building, yelling, "I want you to shut the f*** up and get out of here. Leave my neighbor alone." Two days after saying his vows, Baldwin railed one more time at the paps and tabloid press before deactivating his Twitter account once again, according to Entertainment Weekly. media: 18007279

quicklist:title: Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Careytext: A lot of viewers will be tuning in to "American Idol" early next year not only to see the contestants go head-to-head but the two new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. In October, a video surfaced of Minaj launching a curse-filled rant at Carey during "Idol" auditions in Charlotte, N.C. In the video obtained by TMZ.com, rapper Minaj, 29, was caught lobbing F-bombs at pop diva Carey, 42, referring to her at one point as "her f***ing highness." Carey later told Barbara Walters on "The View" that, after her rant, Minaj was overheard saying, "If I had a gun, I would shoot the b****." Carey told Walters that she "doesn't feel comfortable emotionally" but will continue with the Fox show and has hired extra security. Minaj tweeted in response: "Ironically no camera or mic heard the gun comment tho. Lol @ the struggle. Not even the producers believed u. Say no to violence." media: 18007516

Several people sustained injuries in the bottle-throwing brawl, including Brown, who tweeted -- then deleted -- a picture of himself that showed a gash on his chin. Drake denied participating in "any wrongdoing" in a statement from his rep, while Brown's rep said he was the victim of a "brutal attack." quicklist:title: Chevy Chase vs. 'Community'text: In April, comedian Chevy Chase had a major falling out with "Community" creator Dan Harmon. According to Deadline.com, Chase, who plays middle-aged college student Pierce, walked off the set during shooting of last season's finale. Harmon reportedly countered at the show's end-of-season wrap party by giving what Deadline refers to as a "F*** you, Chevy" speech in front of the actor and his wife and daughter. Harmon also encouraged the crew to say "F*** you" to Chase. Chase exited the party and left a profane voicemail message for Harmon -- part of which was leaked online. Harmon was later fired and Chase, who has been critical of the show's storylines, recently announced that he was departing early.media: 16054517

quicklist: title: Mel Gibson vs. Joe Eszterhastext: Known ranter Mel Gibson got into a verbal altercation with "Basic Instinct" screenwriter Joe Eszterhas this past spring while collaborating on "The Maccabees," a film about a Jewish warrior. The pair took swipes at each other on the Internet. Eszterhas told TheWrap.com that Gibson used slurs to refer to Jewish people and called the Holocaust "mostly a lot of horses***," and threatened to kill the mother of his young daughter, Oksana Grigorieva. Gibson told Deadline.com that Eszterhas' tardiness in producing a script, which he ultimately called "substandard" and a "significant waste of time," caused him to react "more strongly than I should have." He also published a letter denying Eszterhas' claims.

Gibson said he subsequently sent Eszterhas a written apology, "the colorful words of which you apparently now find offensive," he told Deadline.com. "Let me now clearly apologize to you and your family in the simplest of terms." Obviously not satisfied, Eszterhas published a 30,000-plus word eBook about their now-famous conflict in June.media: 18007807

quicklist:title: Jackson Family text: This past summer, the world watched as a family dispute over Michael Jackson's estate -- that has put Jackson's children and mother at the center -- was played out publicly online, on national television, in court and in a videotaped confrontation between some of Jackson's famous siblings and his mother Katherine's nephew. Five of the siblings, including Janet, Jermaine and Randy, accused Michael Jackson's executors of a wild array of allegations. Then Jackson's children accused those same siblings of "kidnapping" their grandmother when she suddenly took a spa vacation in Arizona. After briefly losing custody, Katherine worked out an arrangement to share custody of Jackson's three children with Tito Jr.media: 16860457

quicklist:title: Madonna vs. Lady Gaga (with help from Elton John)text: At a May 31 concert in Tel Aviv, Madonna performed a mash-up of her 1980s hit "Express Yourself" and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." Gaga responded to Madonna for stirring up the "haterade" at a concert in New Zealand: "It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves, to put other people down, or make fun of them, or maybe make mockery of their work, and that doesn't make me feel good at all." The feud began in January when Madonna dissed Lady Gaga's sort of-sound-alike track and described it as "reductive" to ABC News' Cynthia McFadden. By summer, Elton John had entered the fray, complaining about Madonna's treatment of Gaga. "She's been so horrible to Gaga," he said referring to his son's godmother. Then he took his own swipe at her, telling an Australian TV show in August that not only was Madonna's career "over," but that she looked like a "fairground stripper."media: 18008794

quicklist: title: The Lohanstext: This famous feuding family once again aired their dirty laundry in public. In October, Nassau County police were called to the Merrick, N.Y., home where Lindsay Lohan grew up following a dispute between the actress and her mother Dina Lohan. The next morning, the pair were snapped hugging it out. Later that month, Lindsay's dad Michael Lohan tried to stage an intervention at his daughter's Beverly Hills home amid concerns that she was drinking again. He told E! that his daughter called the cops and he was turned away. She then released a statement to ABC News, saying, "It's apparent Michael continues to be very focused on getting publicity for himself. Lindsay's team is in no way aligned with him or his actions."media: 18008883

quicklist:title: LeAnn Rimes vs. Brandi Glanvilletext: Earlier this month, Brandi Glanville claimed that her 9-year-old son got sick after ingesting laxatives belonging to his stepmom LeAnn Rimes, who fired back, calling the allegations "threatening," "mean-spirited" and untrue. Rimes had a very public affair with actor Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Glanville, and Rimes and Cibrian both divorced their then-spouses to marry each other. The two women began feuding on Twitter after Rimes referred to Glanville's children, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian as "my boys." Glanville tweeted in response: "Someone is trying 2 get under my skin by calling MY children "her boys"Sooo transparent! They R MY boys, Eddie Boys and ur step-sons... 4 now" Then, she told Us Weekly that Rimes was "unstable" and "not healthy" and has an eating disorder. It's time for people to see it for what this really is -- she has a book and show to promote and sell."media: 18008951

quicklist:title: Donald Trump vs. Everyonetext: Who didn't the Donald pick a fight with this year? In August, he took aim at fellow media mogul Arianna Huffington. "@ariannahuff is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision," he tweeted. Trump renewed his feud with Rosie O'Donnell, with whom he has famously feuded since her stint on "The View." In May, he took a swipe at her, when comparing her to Cher after the singer expressed her hatred for Mitt Romney on Twitter. Trump tweeted at Cher, "Like @Rosie O'Donnell, a total loser!" O'Donnell tweeted back several times saying, "He returns - like a raging herpes rash. He wants me ... He needs me - he is obsessed ... like a grandpa stalker." But the pair's feud appeared to soften Aug. 21 after O'Donnell revealed she had suffered a heart attack. "@Rosie, get better fast. I'm starting to miss you!" Trump tweeted. He showed no change of heart on President Obama, however. After reviving his dispute with Obama's birthplace, he ranted on Twitter following the president's re-election, "This election is a total sham and a travesty."media: 17708377
