The daughter of famed Indian composer Robbie Shankar says that she was abused as a child a -- Scott Shankar a musician and composer herself. Posted a video as part of the one billion rising campaign in it she said she was sexually and emotionally abused as a child by a man her parents trusted. And she says it has changed her. As a woman I find them frequently living in fear. Afraid to walk alone at night breaks to answer man -- for the time. Afraid I'm going to be judged that treats its in ways based on the way -- -- choose to dress and makeup I might choose to act. Shankar says she will never forgive or recover from what happened to her. The one billion rising campaign is aimed at raising awareness for violence against women.
