— -- Vince Vaughn had fun heckling Kevin James from the “Good Morning America” audience today about his impressive stunts and fighting skills in his new film, “True Memoirs of an International Assassin.”

“That looked fantastic, by the way. And the fighting; unbelievable,” Vaughn, 46, said from the crowd after watching a brief clip from the movie.

“I’ve known Kevin for a while. But he really does train with real trainers and stuff. He’s no joke, so let’s keep it polite this morning. He’s as nice as they get, but don’t poke the lion.”

His sarcastic comments got a good laugh out of James, who was shocked by Vaughn’s surprise cameo during his interview.

In the action film, funny man James plays an easy-going small-time author who gets mistaken for a hit man when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. The book becomes a huge success and James is suddenly kidnapped and forced into a real-life assassination plot.

“This is just fun because it’s a departure for me,” James, 51, said of his breaking away from his usual comedic roles. “It’s something different to be able to take the physicality, and still it’s a very funny movie.

“We’ve got very funny people in it, great actors. It was a lot of fun for me to do something kind of serious and intense.”

"True Memoirs of an International Assassin" is available on Netflix Nov. 11.
