— -- Jeffrey Eli Miller is 13, but he’s already a big star – on Vine.

Jeffrey, who says he’s dreamed of becoming a rock star since he was very young, began to sing publicly at the end of the sixth grade.

The young viral star started sharing his performances on YouTube. After receiving a favorable response, he begged his parents to let him download Vine and post covers there.

"I heard about it from all of my friends and they were talking about how popular Vine was and I posted one cover and it got like an okay response and it just kept going," Jeffrey said today on "Good Morning America."

Six-second clips of his soulful performances routinely get tens of thousands of likes on Vine, the video-sharing app where Jeffrey has more than more than 1 million followers.

"I had like 700 followers after a while and then one morning I woke up with 7,000 and I kept posting covers and more people were commenting and I got on the popular page and I was like, 'Oh my gosh,'" Jeffrey said.

He now posts a new cover every day, and shares video of himself playing piano and guitar.

Ariana Grande is one of his favorite musical artists, and he loves the music of Usher, Jason Derulo, Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake.

Jeffrey says he looks up to many artists, including Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber -- especially since Bieber didn’t allow his early detractors to prevent him from achieving his goals.

While on "GMA" today, Michael Strahan put Jeffrey through his six-second singing paces. He successfully covered everything from an Ariana Grande hit to the classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
