Oct. 22, 2011— -- Deidre provides the soundtrack to this week's Your Three Words. The song is "Don't Blame Me Now" off her EP "Curious Parcel."

Deidre was raised in Smithtown, Long Island.

Her mother is a church organist and choir director and her father writes and teaches about synthesizers and electronic music.

Deidre graduated from New York University.

While still a student, she formed the band Savoir Adore with Paul Hammer.

Deidre still performs with that band, as well as French Horn Rebellion.

Her music is described as a mix of the blues, gypsies, surf safaris, 60s a-go-go and more.
