— -- So, here's the deal. Former One Direction band member Zayn Malik was in a photo with producer Naughty Boy, and his former One Direction band mate Louis Tomlinson felt the need to crack a joke.

The picture that Naughty Boy posted on Twitter has a filter that distorts the image and the caption, "Replace this" that may or may not allude to Malik leaving the band.

So, Tomlinson wrote, "Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!"

To which, Malik, 22, replied, "@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?"

In the middle of all that, you'll notice that Tomlinson and Naughty Boy got into it, as well.

"@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can't even sing.. but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh," the producer wrote.

Then Tomlinson, 23, wrote, "How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career ?"

Finally, Naughty Boy wrote, "Yeah how does it feel mate? You've been doing that for the last five years... I've got Emeli Sande and Sam smith on my CV."

Think that about covers it.

This squabble comes less than two months after Malik left One Direction.

"My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight," Malik wrote on Facebook back in March.
